Job summary

Loft Federal seeks a proactive Program Manager to oversee customer-facing execution across federal space programs and contracts. The role collaborates with Federal leadership, engineering, contracts, finance, and security to keep programs organized, visible, and on track.

Early-to-mid career professionals grow into larger program ownership. The position emphasizes hands-on execution, meeting support, risk management, and ensuring deliverables align with cost, schedule, technical, and contractual

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Security clearance ability to obtain and maintain.
• 3+ years in program management, project management, or related fields.
• Experience supporting customer-facing programs or government contracts.
• Ability to organize and track actions, deliverables, schedules, risks, dependencies, and decisions across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day program interface for assigned programs and contracts.
• Prepare for and support customer meetings, reviews, and status updates.
• Track commitments, actions, deliverables, risks, issues, and decisions through closure.
• Maintain program artifacts: trackers, risk registers, schedules, and meeting notes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Mission, Product, Security, Contracts, Finance, and subcontractors to align work.
• Support development and maintenance of program schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Monitor execution against contract requirements and funding constraints.
• Assist with financial tracking: budgets, burn rates, invoices, and forecast inputs.
