Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking a Head of Programs to lead customer contract execution and build the program management function for Loft Federal.

This role will serve as the senior program execution leader for the Federal business, driving disciplined execution across active contracts, proposals transitioning into award, subcontractor-supported programs, internal reviews, and cross-functional operating cadence.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• 12+ years of progressive program management or related execution experience.
• Experience leading customer-facing programs in government contracting, aerospace, defense, or national security tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer contract execution across Loft Federal programs, tasks, studies, and demonstrations.
• Establish the federal program management operating model with senior leadership.
• Build and run a clear program cadence across reviews, risk, schedule, and financials.
• Own program execution visibility for cost, schedule, technical performance, and deliverables.
• Partner with program managers to set baselines, plans, budgets, and escalation paths.
• Coach and develop program managers and execution leaders as the organization scales.
