Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey seeks a senior program manager to lead complex, strategic programs that span organizational boundaries. You will direct the EPMO project management staff, ensure client satisfaction, and oversee budgeting, resources, and risk management.

In this role, you will develop integrated program plans, report to steering committees, and align deliverables with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional business experience in program management, preferably in health insurance.
• Experience leading large-scale programs/projects with budgets over $5M.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the efforts of EPMO project management staff to ensure overall client satisfaction and appropriate level of service delivery.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans with goals, milestones, and resources.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to program documentation standards and facilitate changes from original specifications.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasts, and actuals; ensure quality standards for deliverables.
