Job summary

FedEx is seeking a strategic Workforce Planning Lead in a hybrid role with Memphis as the preferred location. The role supports planning, developing, organizing, and coordinating large programs across a global footprint.

The candidate will optimize workforce plans, use AI-enhanced methods to streamline analyses, and translate modeling outputs into executive-ready decisions for Finance, HR, and TA. Hybrid expectations with on-site presence several times per week.

Qualifications

• Analytical depth for workforce models, funding vs onboard reconciliation, scenario analysis.
• Applied AI fluency: use AI tooling to compress cycle time and draft executive-ready content.
• Executive translation: convert modeling output into decisions and packages for Finance/HR/TA review.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the workforce strategy partner to 8 SLTs across 15k+ FTE globally.
• Define org-level workforce plans aligned to capacity-to-demand targets and funding models.
• Reconcile funded vs onboard positions and vacancy posture at each SLT level.
• Manage handoff into the approval and execution pipeline to ensure plans are decision-ready.
