Job summary

Ardent Eagle Solutions seeks a seasoned Insider Risk Management professional to support the IRMPO as a planning authority for formalizing and maturing NSPM-33 compliance and CHIPS/Science Act initiatives, onsite at the Department of Commerce Headquarters in Washington, DC.

This role requires TS/SCI clearance with crossover eligibility, a BS degree (MS preferred), about eight years of relevant experience including four in Research Security, and exceptional writing skills with MS 365.

Qualifications

• Approximately eight years of relevant professional experience, including approximately four years of Research Security experience.
• Federal Research Security experience at the Department/Agency HQ level is preferred.
• Four years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with a variety of audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Exceptional writing skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; this is a writing-intensive position.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess Research Security Program Plans and procedures.
• Develop and manage the content for a Research Security Awareness Training program for Department of Commerce employees and associates.
• Work with staff to develop a more comprehensive Research Security compliance program.
• Assist in preparation of requested materials for the Department's Research Security and Insider Risk mission.
• Assist in development of policies and guidance related to the Department's Research Security and Insider Risk mission.
• Assist in staffing and tracking Interagency, Task Force(s), and National Security Council taskings.
• Attend interagency and internal Research Security and Insider Risk working groups as may be required.
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Research Security Programs, make recommendations for improvement, and implement approved initiatives.
