Job summary

Houston Methodist seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale programs, guiding strategy and execution with hospital leadership, clients, partners, and vendors. You will design and implement program elements, measure outcomes, and report to senior leadership.

You will develop reports to support business activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure governance and alignment with system strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, healthcare administration, clinical or related field.
• Five years experience related to business or healthcare administration or in a nonprofit setting; HM employee with four years’ experience may be considered.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and projects with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Leads program strategies with key stakeholders to ensure timelines, deliverables and budgets are met.
• Provides leadership and acts as primary resource to councils and professional groups.
• Communicates with authority to individuals and groups to engage and inform stakeholders.
• Mentors and role models for coworkers, promoting department/program improvements and retention.
