Job summary

The Program Manager at United Way Greater Triangle will coordinate cross-institutional initiatives that advance the economic mobility of Triangle residents, blending research, analysis, and project management to move partnerships forward with clarity and momentum.

You will work closely with the Director of Future of Work, engage employers and funders, organize stakeholder convenings, and help codify internal systems for program management, measurement, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in program management, community development, workforce development, policy, or a related field.
• Experience working in or alongside nonprofits, government agencies, or cross-sector partnerships preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple workstreams.
• Proficiency in data synthesis and presentation; comfortable using project management tools.
• Familiarity with economic mobility or workforce development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-institutional initiatives advancing economic mobility in the Triangle.
• Quarterback Action Lab initiatives with the Director of Future of Work.
• Manage UWGT's annual Request for Proposals process from drafting to decision support.
• Represent UWGT and the Action Lab with stakeholders at events and convenings.
• Develop and codify internal systems for project management and measurement.
• Support grants management via Submittable and provide impact data.
