Job summary

Fieldpiece, a leading HVACR tools company, seeks a Senior Project Manager in Orange, CA, to lead cross-functional programs from concept to launch, spanning hardware, firmware, software, and connected devices.

You will align Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Operations, Marketing, and global partners, translating strategy into executable plans, managing risks, and driving on-time delivery with FT TM methodologies. The role is hybrid with a move to Tustin in 2028.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project or program management experience leading complex new product development projects involving hardware, embedded firmware, software, and connected products.
• Proven ability to lead highly cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
• Exceptional problem‑solving, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced product development environment.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with global suppliers, ODMs, or contract manufacturers.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product development programs from concept through launch and post-launch support.
• Drive execution across hardware, firmware, software, mobile applications, and connected technologies.
• Align Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Operations, Marketing, and global partners around shared priorities and delivery milestones.
• Identify technical, operational, and supply chain risks early while driving timely resolution.
• Translate executive strategy into executable project plans that keep teams focused and accountable.
• Improve project management practices, governance, and execution across the organization.
• Communicate program status, risks, and trade-offs to leaders with clarity and confidence.
• Build trusted relationships that help teams collaborate, solve problems, and deliver exceptional results.
