Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Director 1 to lead a strategic development program for the U.S. Navy within the Future Concepts business. You will manage a team, influence at senior levels, and coordinate with chief architects to shape system capabilities and mission effects.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and a track record of program execution across a matrixed organization, engaging Government and corporate stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in program or project management.
• Master’s degree in STEM with substantial leadership and program oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team across multiple contracts and ensure program execution.
• Manage a $200M+ portfolio with growth as customer needs evolve.
• Identify, respond to RFIs, RFPs, and FOPRs related to development opportunities.
• Brief customers at senior levels and inform NG leadership.
