Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Program Director for a Sustainment and Analytics program in the United States. The role reports to the VP of Operations and oversees contractual and financial requirements, ensuring compliance and strategic objectives.

This position requires exceptional program management and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include developing strategies, managing budgets, mitigating risks, reporting performance, and leading stakeholder engagements to optimize program

Qualifications

• Twenty years of aircraft maintenance leadership/managerial experience equivalent to an Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, Group or Squadron Commander.
• In-depth understanding of large-scale aircraft maintenance organizations and interrelationships with Wing/base activities and defense logistics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and plans to ensure successful delivery of services to the customer.
• Identify issues and adapt program plans based on customer feedback on cost, performance, quality, schedule, and risk.
• Develop and manage the program budget and allocate resources to meet objectives.
• Address contractual and technical issues and negotiate changes with the customer.
• Track performance metrics and prepare reports for management and the customer.
• Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to monitor progress and address issues.
• Monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on performance.
• Achieve KPIs and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
