Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality Director to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality systems for the Mission Solutions Aviation AirForce portfolio. You will drive continual improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide QA teams to excellence.

Responsibilities include implementing GOPs and SOPs, managing CDLR adherence, and coordinating with program management on risk and corrective actions. Strong leadership and audit credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years in QA/QC with at least four (4) years in a management role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Quality Management or related field; substitutions allowed with experience.
• Lead auditor certifications in ISO 9000, AS 9100D and AS 9110 required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and objectives for the Aviation portfolio.
• Lead and manage the Quality function across programs ensuring timely deliverables.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Mentor QA teams, perform internal audits and train staff on quality standards.
• Interface with customers and external auditors; ensure compliance with GOPs, SOPs, and CDLLs.
• Develop KPIs, monitor performance, and report quality metrics and trends.
