  • Assesses training needs and coordinates training programs.
  • Develops and implements department or program policies and procedures.
  • Represents the department on committees and addresses program questions.
  • Forecasts, prepares, or coordinates the program budget and monitors expenditures.
  • Negotiates terms of contracts and service agreements.
  • Stays informed of legal or related changes impacting the program.
  • Develops systems and maintains records to support the program.
  • Provides independent oversight and decision making for the program.
