Job summary

SAIC in Aurora, CO seeks an experienced program control and budget analyst to oversee budgets and financial management of ongoing NRO projects. You will interface with planners, contract administrators, and government leaders to brief budget status and requirements.

The role requires deep data analysis, problem-solving, and clear communication of budget issues and recommendations to stakeholders. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Wide knowledge of federal and agency-specific budgeting principles and standards.
• Experience with NRO financial systems and tools.
• Ability to learn multiple financial systems and tools to manage budget plans and execute funding.
• Ability to work in a dynamic budget environment balancing priorities and schedules.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analyses of contract and non-contract budgetary and financial requirements and trends.
• Develop budgets and spend plans; monitor performance against plans to meet objectives.
• Brief the execution status to leadership using budget summaries and talking points.
• Collaborate with technical representatives to fund government contracts and prioritize projects.
• Identify resource trade-offs and propose reallocations to maintain program execution.
• Help design and use corporate data repositories and reports for financial oversight.
