Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. is seeking an experienced program control/budget analyst to independently oversee and manage the budget and provide financial management for ongoing projects and portfolios in support of the NRO Budget Director, site senior leadership, and the NRO mission.

You will interface with technical planners, contract administrators, and government leaders to facilitate understanding of budget requirements and brief status of project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with the specified experience; or higher degrees with correspondingly related experience.
• Ability to learn and use multiple financial systems and tools to account for budget plans and execution.
• Experience with federal budgeting principles and government financial process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analyses of contract and non-contract budgetary requirements and trends.
• Develop budgets and spend plans; monitor performance to meet objectives.
• Brief execution status to leadership with budget summaries and talking points.
• Collaborate with technical and contract managers to fund government contracts.
• Identify resource trade-offs and propose realignments to maintain program execution.
