Neapco seeks a Program Buyer to manage deliverables for new and series production programs, reporting to the Director of Global Advanced Purchasing. Based at our World Headquarters and Technical Center in Farmington Hills, MI, this role aligns with Neapco’s core values and CSR goals.

The candidate will lead sourcing activities, coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Program Management, and drive timely supplier engagements to support program milestones and PPAP readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3–5 years of purchasing program experience.
• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience preferred.
• Experience with purchasing program management deliverables.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Manage Global Purchasing deliverables for unawarded (pursuit) and awarded (SOP+90 days) programs.
• Support the Cost Estimator during pursuit phase by obtaining supplier strategy and issuing RFQs to verify BOM costs.
• Conduct and track all sourcing activities for new program launches to meet timing and deliverables.
• Source all purchased components on time and below Cost Book, including RFQs and quotes comparisons.
• Track initial samples to support plant builds and PPAP readiness.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to resolve program issues in a timely manner.
• Create and present Purchasing tracking documents and escalate issues as needed.
• Represent purchasing during PDTs, PCM reviews, Gate Reviews, and launch meetings.
• Monitor NCSRs and supplier quotes to ensure alignment with requested changes.
• Monitor Sourcing Board schedules to ensure timely parts sourcing.
• Suggest new suppliers and gather necessary company documents.
• Collaborate with global colleagues and improve Purchasing processes.
