Job summary

807 Health Care Authority is seeking a Professional Services Contracts Manager to lead and coordinate professional services contract development, overseeing an annual program valued at over $100 million. You will analyze trends, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and advise leadership on corrective actions and policy changes.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a strategic approach to procurement.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field with professional experience.
Bachelor’s degree with substantial procurement experience acceptable.
Equivalent combination of education and experience can substitute for degree requirements.
Certified Procurement Officer credential is preferred or required as per state guidance.

Responsibilities

Develops and coordinates professional services contract development for the agency.
Monitors procurement trends and ensures alignment with state goals.
Interprets laws, policies, and regulations and advises management.
Represents agency at hearings and with external stakeholders.
Manages contract administration to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
Prepares reports and maintains procurement records as required.
