Job summary

The Professional Learning (PL) Coordinator in the Educator Learning, Research, and Practice (ELRP) department will coordinate planning, scheduling, and delivery of WIDA's professional learning portfolio. This role serves as a primary contact for SEAs, contractors, vendors, and partners, ensuring responsive service and smooth engagements from planning through delivery.

Remote work is optional; however, living in Madison, WI or surrounding area is preferred due to on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year coordinating programs, projects, or professional learning initiatives.
• Minimum of 1 year customer service and building relationships with internal and external partners.
• Experience managing data, records, or tracking systems, including CRM or database systems.
• Experience coordinating virtual and/or in-person events, meetings, trainings, or learning experiences.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Directs the implementation of program policies and procedures.
• Coordinates virtual and in-person program operations, including facilitator assignments, participant enrollment, webinar support, data management, and resolution of operational issues.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for stakeholders and partners, providing customer service and coordinating communications related to program participation and delivery.
• Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships to promote the outreach program.
• Schedules and secures logistics and resources in support of an outreach program.
• Schedules day-to-day activities for program staff and student and community volunteers.
• Identifies opportunities for program improvement or new outreach program development.
