Job summary

Traditions Prepared Meals LLC is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer demand while balancing inventory, materials, staffing, and capacity. You will coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, QA, and Customer Service to ensure meals ship on time.

The role requires 2+ years in production scheduling, strong Excel and ERP experience, and the ability to translate demand into actionable production plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related field.
• Two+ years of production scheduling or related manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/manufacturing systems; Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules across manufacturing lines based on orders, forecasts, inventory, and capacity.
• Translate demand into production requirements by product, quantity, line, and completion date.
• Confirm availability of ingredients, packaging, and materials; communicate shortages.
• Review inventory to prevent stockouts and overproduction; manage aging stock.
• Coordinate schedules with production leadership to align staffing and equipment; monitor and adjust for downtime or changing priorities.
• Communicate schedule changes and deadlines to affected departments; align with shipping.
• Create and maintain manufacturing orders and scheduling records in ERP systems.
