Job summary

Appvion is seeking a Production Scheduler to lead site-level production planning, material flow, and inventory execution, translating demand into executable plans while balancing capacity, materials, and inventory to support business objectives and customer service.

You will partner with Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to align plans with demand and drive continuous improvement, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production planning, scheduling, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of planning principles, demand alignment, and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (D365 preferred; SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Advanced Excel/data analysis skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level production planning, material flow, and inventory execution.
• Balance capacity, materials, and inventory to meet customer demand.
• Develop and execute production plans to achieve 95%+ service levels.
• Coordinate with site buyers on material readiness and lead times.
• Manage schedules, backlog, and order status to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning practices and efficiency.
