Zusammenfassung

MACOM is seeking a Production Control Planner in Morgan Hill, CA to manage production planning, scheduling, and shop floor control using SAP, Vlite/Visual Enterprise, and Agile. You will work with material planning, engineering, and production management to move products from supply to shipment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in planning or production control, SAP/ERP experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a major related to production control or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, project management or a related field.

Aufgaben

• Turn production plans into detailed schedules and release work orders in SAP/ERP and MES systems.
• Track and report daily production status, throughput and WIP to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain MES/workflow data and support engineering builds and material movements on the shop floor.
• Adjust schedules and machine assignments to minimize downtime during disruptions.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability without excess stock.
• Document production progress, backlogs, and cost-control records, and communicate with internal customers.
