Job summary

Adient plc, Bridgewater Interiors II, is seeking a Master Scheduler to coordinate and schedule production, manage material flow, and align demand with supply across multiple customers and products. The role partners with customers, purchasing, production and engineering on new product releases and long-term needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent knowledge.
• 3-5 years in Materials Planning/Scheduling/Analyst/Supervisor.
• Experience in scheduling, demand and record management, customer measurement systems, inventory management and material flow.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Advanced level ability in PC software, ERP and EDI systems.
• Formal lean manufacturing training.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and monitors movement of material through production cycle.
• Manage demand, production scheduling and customer service for multiple customers/products.
• Formalizes weekly forecasts and Sales & Operations Planning data.
• Works with customers, purchasing, production and engineering on new product releases.
• Establishes supply chain parameters to drive on-time delivery and appropriate inventory levels.
• Leads continuous improvement teams and cost reduction initiatives.
• Supports new product/program launches.
