Job summary

Phelps Pet Products in Rockford, IL, is seeking a Production Scheduler to align manufacturing with forecasted demand across our headquarters and Janesville facility. You will collaborate with sales, operations, and finance, leveraging ERP and Excel to keep production and inventory on track.

Qualifications

Previous background in supply chain management and logistics.
Experience with ERP systems and data analysis using Excel.
Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Management and cross-functional team members to successfully execute responsibilities.
Use data analysis to ensure production aligns with forecast and demand growth.
Leverage ERP/data warehouse and Excel to monitor inventory and production capacity.
Communicate with sales, operations, and finance to optimize scheduling and fulfillment.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement strategies and reduce waste.
