Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LLC is seeking a Production Scheduler for the Port Hudson facility in Zachary, Louisiana. The role creates and executes optimized production schedules to meet demand and plant goals, acting as the liaison between commercial scheduling and manufacturing operations.

You will own daily/weekly plans, anticipate obstacles, and continuously optimize run quantities and changeovers to maximize throughput and service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with scheduling tools (AspenTech, Quintiq, Optessa, Preactor, etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute finite-capacity production schedules across machines and lines.
• Coordinate between Sales/CS, Master Scheduling and Manufacturing to align priorities.
• Own daily and weekly production plans and coordinate corrective actions.
