Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and scheduling in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Strong Excel and general computer skills.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and production plans.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and project controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, ASME materials, or pressure vessel construction preferred.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules and job plans.
• Create and maintain two-week production look-ahead schedules.
• Assign and track daily production tasks and budgeted labor hours.
• Monitor actual hours versus budget to keep projects on track.
• Track materials, delivery dates, job start dates, and ship dates.
• Coordinate machine shop and fabrication priorities.
• Identify production delays and propose recovery plans.
• Coordinate subcontracted work and outside services.
• Ensure work orders and instructions are properly communicated.
• Provide regular production and project status reporting.
