Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner for its Marmon Industrial Energy and Infrastructure division.

The role involves inputting forecasts, scheduling work centers, and coordinating with manufacturing leadership to meet on-time delivery and optimize throughput. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (APICS preferred) and 5+ years in production planning, preferably in a job shop environment with lean manufacturing exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred and/or APICS certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Planning and Scheduling within a job shop manufacturing environment.
Wire and cable industry experience is a plus and Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Supply Chain Manager by inputting forecasts and determining order ship dates based on materials, labor, capacity and customer requirements.
Assist in scheduling manufacturing work centers to optimize on-time delivery, throughput, and reduce inefficiencies.
Organize and maintain production schedules for assigned work centers and ensure timely production.
Schedule and maintain assigned work centers to support production requirements.
Analyze workload and production demands to help Production Supervisors determine staffing needs.
