Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking a production planner to oversee daily build plan reporting and support production control on the factory floor. You will help ensure material availability and timely delivery of orders in a busy manufacturing setting.

You’ll manage short-term schedules (0-4 weeks), input maintenance data, and coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing. A background in ERP/MRP systems and strong analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years hands on experience in manufacturing environment.
• Prefer experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily creation of reports required by the planning department.
• Data input for maintenance details of the items and work orders using manual input and data uploads.
• Support the execution of both short term (0-4 weeks) production schedules to ensure 100% on‑time delivery of all customer orders.
• Analyses capacity planning and material requirements advising Sales of push outs.
• Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
• Approves and implements deviations from schedules and ECNs.
• Proven track record of quality/continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
