Job summary

Marmon Industrial Energy and Infrastructure in East Granby, CT is seeking a Production Control Specialist to support the Supply Chain Manager by forecasting and scheduling production. You will determine order ship dates based on materials, labor, capacity, and customer requirements, and coordinate work centers to improve on-time delivery and throughput.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and preferably APICS certification, with at least 5 years in production planning in job shop environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or APICS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Planning and Scheduling within a job shop manufacturing environment.
• Wire and cable industry experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Manager in organizing and maintaining production schedules for assigned work centers.
• Schedule and maintain assigned manufacturing work centers to support production requirements.
• Analyze workload and production demands to determine staffing requirements.
• Partner daily with manufacturing leadership to review schedule compliance and make adjustments as needed.
• Respond to production floor feedback regarding schedule changes that reduce setup times and improve throughput.
