Sanmina Corporation in San Jose is seeking a Production Planner / Scheduler to serve as a critical link among Engineering, Program Management, Purchasing and Manufacturing. The role focuses on executing planning activities to support SYN initiatives and on‑time shipment.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, identifying shortages, expediting materials, and addressing bottlenecks across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years in production planning or similar role.
• Experience in production planning to support SYN requirements.
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems; Oracle 11i and advanced Excel.
• Analytical, with clear verbal and written communication.
• Kinaxis Rapid Response or other Advanced Planning Systems knowledge.
• APICS certification/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform core scheduling functions, managing work orders and movement of materials.
• Identify material shortages and capacity constraints; provide delivery projections.
• Expedite materials with Purchasing, Production, and Engineering.
• Identify bottlenecks; analyze impact and propose solutions.
• Apply production planning to support SYN processes and goals.
• Resolve scheduling challenges with sound judgment.
