Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a Master Production Scheduler in Carrollton, TX to create and manage master schedules for a complex Configure-to-Order program. You will liaise with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Shipping, ensuring resource alignment and on-time delivery.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel. Excellent communication is essential to collaborate across functions and drive schedule-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated master schedule for a complex Configure to Order program using demand forecasts, sales data, material supply and capacity.
• Act as a liaison between sales, production, procurement, and engineering to align resources and materials with schedules.
• Track progress, analyze performance metrics (like on-time delivery), identify risks, and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare status reports, create department dashboards, and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Use data to drive process improvements and ensure efficient use of capacity.
• Assess and implement techniques needed to plan, schedule, control, measure and evaluate the effectiveness of production operations.
• Monitor and report any changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies.
• Communicate production schedule to staff members promptly.

Master Production Scheduler

Job Purpose

The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing all production and shipment schedules. This role assembles the master schedule based upon the business, shipment, inventory, and production plans and serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Shipping departments.
