Job summary

Trystar Inc in Loveland, CO is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to create and manage production schedules aligned with customer demand, inventory levels, and material availability, while optimizing efficiency and resource use.

You will collaborate with sales, procurement, inventory, logistics, and engineering to ensure timely material availability and smooth production, using ERP systems and advanced planning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and production scheduling software (Epicor a plus).
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; Advanced Excel and Power BI skills desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules for assigned production areas ensuring alignment with orders, forecast demand, and capacity.
• Ensure consistency in planning processes, ERP scheduling transactions, and timely adjustments to plans.
• Collaborate with Master Scheduler, Procurement, and Sales to align demand with schedules.
• Maximize efficient use of resources and minimize downtime and bottlenecks.
• Monitor and adjust plans in response to changes in demand, material availability, or capacity constraints.
• Coordinate with materials and procurement to ensure timely material availability.
• Track and report on key planning metrics (on-time delivery, schedule attainment, capacity, efficiency).
• Identify and mitigate production risks related to resources, machine availability, or shortages.
• Use ERP and other tools to ensure real-time data for decisions.
• Communicate with site managers and teams to align priorities and timelines.
