Job summary

Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is seeking a Production Planner for the Production Planning and Control department. This role focuses on creating and guiding production schedules, analyzing capacity, and coordinating with operations and sales to meet customer demand.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in operations or business, 3–5 years of manufacturing planning experience, and strong MS Excel and SAP/MRP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of manufacturing planning experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP/MRP familiarity.
• Excellent communication with operations and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain master schedules to meet customer demand.
• Serve as primary information conduit between operations and commercial teams.
• Perform schedule analyses including critical path and risk identification.
• Monitor capacity and resolve constraints using level-loading and expediting.
• Proactively address urgent manufacturing issues to support the master schedule.
• Integrate data related to backlog and history for KPIs.
• Analyze KPIs and visual management indicators.
