Job summary

CANPACK Group in Olyphant, PA is seeking a Production Planner to organize production planning based on inventory analysis and warehouse coordination. You will develop and maintain the production schedule, materials plan, and intercompany purchases to meet customer demand as directed by the Production Planning Manager.

The role requires an associate degree in supply chain or related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain/Business Logistics or equivalent.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• MS Office especially Excel; attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Organize production planning based on inventory analysis and forward warehouse coordination.
• Develop and maintain production schedule, raw material plan, and intercompany purchase requirements.
• Schedule production lines to meet customer and forecasted demands; plan yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly horizons.
• Manage stock to meet seasonal demands and maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Communicate production plans and stoppages to management; coordinate timely delivery of goods.
• Assist with systems implementation and audits; review orders for on-time completion.
• Manage capacity planning for production lines and ensure schedule attainment.
