Job summary

The Toro Company in Ohio is seeking a Production Planner II to ensure material flow and on-time manufacturing. You will work with the Planning Team and suppliers to align demand with supply, leveraging SAP data and PO planning.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in production planning, a high school diploma (advanced degree preferred), and strong collaboration with purchasing and manufacturing teams to optimize inventory and service levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Advanced degree in Materials Science or related field strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Attends Tier meetings and communicates material status.
• Plans and deploys Production Planning Team resources to meet production needs.
• Develops material requirements using SAP data, planned orders and buy information.
• Plans purchase orders and JIT materials within inventory, freight costs and turn ratio goals.
• Coordinates all transportation activities for assigned commodities keeping costs and time parameters within scope.
• Works with the buyer and vendor to resolve problems and ensure service levels.
