Novanta Corporation is seeking a production planning professional to determine material specifications, create and maintain inventory schedules, and coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years in manufacturing planning, with APICS certification preferred, to optimize material availability and reduce inventory levels while aligning with business schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years' experience in manufacturing, production management or production planning.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain material availability while reducing inventory and increasing turns.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage complex fulfillment and production plans.
• Participate in system or process improvement initiatives to equip the function with the best tools.
• Review and revise production and fulfillment plans in response to manufacturing schedules.
• Coordinate between Manufacturing, Customer Care, Sales and Product Management, communicating issues clearly.
• Analyze production plans and inventory reports to guide site production.
• Assist expediting finished goods to support order fulfillment.
