Job summary

Tranter-LHE Group is seeking a Production Planner to develop and implement production plans based on sales orders, maximizing resource usage and ensuring timely delivery. Under supervision, you will schedule production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes optimizing schedules, data accuracy in ERP, and collaboration to meet delivery targets while supporting Lean initiatives and continuous improvement in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in materials planning, scheduling or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience utilizing MRP systems.
• CPIM Certification a plus.
• Experience in a lean and/or six sigma environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements while optimizing capacity and resources.
• Support Lean Enterprise and continuous improvement initiatives, tracking metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies to drive operational excellence.
• Optimize Schedule to ensure orders meet expected delivery date; Coordinate with Supply Chain.
• Keep Sales and Customer Service updated on orders.
• Ensure correct data in ERP system.
