Job summary

Fameccanica North America in West Chester, OH is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules, optimize processes, and coordinate across engineering, procurement, logistics and production to keep projects on track.

You will monitor inventory, assess capacity, plan labor utilization, and drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements using data-driven methods and ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) with Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and inventory management in manufacturing.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
• Ability to apply Lean/Six Sigma to improve processes.
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage production schedules based on demand, capacity, and inventory.
• Provide technical support to resolve process issues and document SOPs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available on time.
• Assess production capacity, recommend adjustments, and plan labor/floor utilization.
• Coordinate work orders and maintain accurate documentation.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, procurement, logistics, and leadership to align production plans.
