DSJ Global is assisting a consumer products manufacturer in Park Ridge, New Jersey, seeking a Production Planner II. The role focuses on creating and maintaining production schedules, ensuring material availability, and coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to meet demand efficiently.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (APICS/ASCM a plus) and 4+ years of planning experience, with SAP proficiency and strong analytical and communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred; APICS/ASCM certification is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain production schedules using ERP/MRP systems.
• Adjust plans based on demand changes, material availability, and capacity constraints.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to support on-time production.
• Monitor inventory levels and work-in-process to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Analyze material requirements and recommend schedule adjustments as needed.
• Support inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track key performance metrics including schedule attainment, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior planning team members and serve as a planning systems resource.
