Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions in SC seeks a Production Planner to manage materials for the production schedule, introduce new products, and optimize delivery performance. You will analyze consumption forecasts and KPIs to sustain inventory levels and asset utilization in a collaborative environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience (or 10 years without a degree) and SAP proficiency; APICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with one year of work experience required; if no degree, 10 years of relevant work experience required.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• Manufacturing work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MRP reports and take appropriate action.
• Create and release production orders daily to meet plan and delivery dates.
• Create purchase requisitions daily to meet production plan and customer dates.
• Coordinate with engineering and production on upcoming work and material issues.
• Schedule and reschedule production orders to adapt to changes.
• Plan new product materials and schedules.
• Perform SAP functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adjust safety stock as required.
• Analyze lead-time and lot size, continuously.
• Level-load work centers and communicate load conditions.
