Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Production Planner to schedule production at the Grand Rapids, MI facility and support other sites as needed, ensuring on-time delivery and optimized labor and materials flow. The role requires 3–5 years in production planning, a Bachelor's in Business or Manufacturing, and ERP/MRP experience; APCS preferred.

Strong analytical and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of production planning and/or materials management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing or related discipline preferred.
• APCS Certification preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control and ERP/MRP systems.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Schedules production effectively for the Grand Rapids facility using multiple data sources to develop work flow.
• Strives to level load production schedules for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Recommends labor levels to meet on-time delivery and adjust plans as needed.
• Reacts and reschedules production to accommodate unexpected situations.
• Monitors, analyzes and reports production performance for Operations.
• Determines delivery dates based on material availability and labor capacity.
• Updates master production schedule to reflect correct completion dates.
