Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Production Planner to schedule and optimize production across facilities. You will plan labor and materials to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective production flow.

Responsibilities include creating feasible master production schedules, adjusting plans for material availability, and monitoring performance. A Bachelor’s degree and ERP/MRP experience are required; APICS/ISM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• APICS or ISM Certification is preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedules production effectively by facility and analyzes data sources for work-flow plans.
• Level-loads production schedules for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Recommends labor levels to meet on-time delivery.
• Reschedules production in response to surprises.
• Monitors and reports production performance for Operations.
• Determines delivery dates based on material availability and labor capacity.
• Updates master production schedule with accurate completion dates.
• Adapts schedules for labor/material shortages.
• Recommends labor and machine requirements for short/long-term plans.
• Releases work for production per schedule.
• Ensures inventory sufficiency for production.
• Monitors shipping risks and opportunities.
• Identifies and fixes production issues.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
