Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to convert MRP signals into accurate production orders.
• Strong experience using ERP systems for production and materials planning.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, formulas) to support analysis and reporting.
• Deep understanding of production scheduling principles and practices.
• Knowledge of inventory management concepts and methods.
• Experience with demand planning inputs shaping production plans.
• Data-driven mindset for analyzing inventory, forecasts, and capacity.
• Ability to model and interpret what-if scenarios for planning decisions.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms for production and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production and supply plans to support customer delivery schedules and forecasts.
• Interpret and execute MRP signals to generate production orders.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and quality teams for material availability.
• Optimize inventory levels balancing supply and demand to prevent shortages.
• Use ERP systems daily to manage production orders and scheduling.
• Apply advanced Excel to analyze inventory, forecasts, capacity, and trends.
• Develop and evaluate what-if scenarios to assess impacts on plans.
• Support scheduling to ensure efficient capacity use and on-time orders.
• Monitor and adjust plans in response to demand or material changes.
• Collaborate across functions to continuously improve planning processes.
