Job summary

Jabil, the global engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing leader, seeks a Production Planner II to interface with customers for demand planning and shipment updates. You will develop a feasible master schedule, load it into the ERP, and drive on-time delivery while improving planning metrics.

Education: bachelor’s preferred; Experience: 2–5 years in supply chain and ERP/MRP (SAP or similar); Lean tools experience highly desired. This role is based in the United States with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, and materials in an industrial environment
• Thorough experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or similar
• Lean tools including 5 Why, kaizen, and six sigma principles highly desired
• Ability to solve problems and pivot priorities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a collaborative demand plan with BU and customers
• Create a Master Schedule through resource and capacity analysis
• Load Master Schedule into the Jabil ERP system
• Develop a feasible production plan and work with operations to execute
• Develop revenue forecast and track performance with corrective actions
• Monitor planning metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Follow security procedures and company policies
• May perform other duties as assigned
