Job summary

OMCO, a MacLean-Fogg Company, is hiring a Production Planning and Control Analyst at our Wickliffe, Ohio facility. In this role, you will oversee production scheduling, optimize labor and resource utilization, analyze performance, and coordinate across functions to support efficient production and customer requirements.

This full-time, on-site position offers a salary between $65,000 and $70,000 annually along with a comprehensive benefits package and standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to guide and support team members effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data to support decisions and process improvements.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions.
• Flexibility in responding to changing priorities and circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Assess production processes to identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and align operations with demand forecasts.
• Create and maintain production schedules that balance supply and demand while maximizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor production metrics and performance indicators and help implement corrective actions when results deviate from plan.
• Plan labor allocation to support cost-effective workforce utilization, productivity, and quality.
• Collaborate with procurement, quality, sales, and other functions to align production capabilities with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to planning team members, supporting accountability and professional development.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and resource utilization to support informed decision-making.
