Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate contract packaging schedules at the Greenville, SC plant. You will manage inventory, forecast demand, and support procurement while aligning with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure timely production and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to communicate across supply chain functions to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing operations or related field preferred.
• 0–5 years of production planning, demand planning, or supply chain ops ideal.
• Experience with inventory control and planning in manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP systems and planning signals.
• Exposure to pharmaceutical/medical device/consumer goods supply chains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules for co-packing facilities.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to ensure material availability and execution.
• Manage finished goods, work-in-progress, and bulk material inventory.
• Generate purchase orders and support procurement with quotes and specs.
• Serve as primary contact between co-packers and internal teams; track status.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to meet standards and document issues.
• Prepare production status reports and communicate data to leadership.
• Use ERP systems to schedule, forecast, and plan improvements.
