Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America is seeking a Senior Manager, Production & Material Control to lead end-to-end materials management, demand planning, inventory control, and production support across manufacturing operations. You will oversee Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Control, and Engineering Support teams to optimize material availability and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive leadership in materials management, production planning, demand planning, inventory control, or supply chain within manufacturing.
Proven ability to balance customer requirements with production capacity and constraints.
Strong leadership in developing managers and building high-performing teams.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems focused on production planning, inventory management, and materials control.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct Production Control operations, including Planning, Engineering Support, and Inventory Control functions.
Develop and execute demand and capacity planning strategies aligned with annual objectives.
Serve as Manufacturing's representative in the S&OP process.
Foster a culture of accountability, agility, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Drive enterprise inventory governance and standardize material flow across operations.
Ensure material availability to support production schedules and projects.
Provide oversight of inventory accuracy programs including cycle counts and physical inventories.
Partner with Manufacturing leadership to meet quality, delivery, cost, and safety objectives.
Develop, monitor, and report department KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Leverage analytics to identify risks, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
Oversee SAP master data governance and data integrity across PP and EWM.
