Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Product Owner II in Buffalo, NY. You will own the product vision and roadmap, prioritizing backlogs and communicating with stakeholders to ensure value delivery. You will write clear user stories with acceptance criteria and partner with delivery teams to enable ATDD and measured outcomes.

The role emphasizes customer voice, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with risk and governance standards, within a hybrid work model based in the footprint.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus at least 6 years in business, analytics, technical and/or product roles.
Alternatively, a combined minimum of 10 years of higher education and/or work experience.
Knowledge of Design Thinking principles.
Knowledge of Agile and Lean practices.

Responsibilities

Build and own the product vision and roadmap aligned to strategy.
Prioritize backlogs and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
Write user stories and define acceptance criteria for ATDD.
Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders across the organization.
Engage with customers to understand needs and outcomes.
Promote customer-centric decision making and cross-team alignment.
