Job summary

NMI seeks a Senior Product Owner to drive tactical delivery for Billing and Data platforms. You will own features end-to-end, write sharp user stories, validate acceptance criteria, and marshal UAT.

You will influence architecture decisions while maintaining day-to-day delivery across two interconnected domains within Engineering. You will partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver aligned, auditable billing operations and data platforms on

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in platform, infra, or data environments.
• Deep SME for owned features, technical depth beyond business context.
• Cloud-based data platforms and pipelines knowledge (BigQuery, dbt, Airflow).
• Ability to write/execute SQL for UAT and data validation.
• Proficient in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma) and release coordination.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating software release cycles and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery for Billing and Data teams by managing backlogs and Agile ceremonies.
• Author detailed epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Conduct UAT and validate data accuracy via SQL against BigQuery.
• Coordinate release planning and internal rollout communications for both platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to align on dependencies and sequencing.
• Partner with PMs to ensure tactical execution matches business strategy.
• Support cross-functional coordination and stakeholder visibility.
• Define MVPs and deliver value incrementally.
