Job summary

NMI is seeking a Senior Product Owner to drive tactical delivery for Billing and Data platform teams within Engineering. You will own features end-to-end, write sharp user stories, validate acceptance criteria, and oversee UAT and releases.

You’ll be the SME across two interconnected domains, guiding cross‑team priorities and stakeholder alignment. You’ll partner with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to balance strategy with execution, ensuring data integrity on BigQuery and smooth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product ownership or technical PM experience in platform/data projects.
• Subject matter expert for owned features with deep technical context.
• Cloud data platforms and pipelines experience (BigQuery, dbt, Airflow).
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries against BigQuery.
• Agile development with Jira/Confluence/Figma experience.
• Experience coordinating UAT, releases, and QA documentation.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• User-focused, able to translate insights into product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Billing and Data team delivery, manage backlogs and ceremonies.
• Write detailed epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Conduct UAT, validate data, and run SQL against BigQuery.
• Coordinate releases, write notes, and manage rollout communications.
• Collaborate with peers to manage cross-team dependencies.
• Partner with PMs and Eng Managers on strategy and backlog priorities.
