Motion Industries in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Product Manager who drives sales activity for assigned product responsibilities and partners with strategic suppliers. You will establish and optimize relationships with manufacturers and vendors to maximize profitability and market reach.

In this role you will negotiate terms, align with vendor agreements, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver pricing, marketing programs, and growth initiatives across the sales organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3–5 years in industrial manufacturing or process settings.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and drive profitability.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Secures best-in-class pricing, rebates, and marketing support.
• Negotiates commercial terms and aligns with vendor agreements.
• Develops and optimizes vendor relationships to drive growth.
• Leads collaboration with field sales to achieve sales growth.
• Supports initiatives by optimizing market potential and pricing strategies.
• Negotiates sourcing for specific product categories.
• Interacts with senior management to recommend actions for sales improvement.
• Identifies gaps that strategic suppliers or partners can fill to drive growth.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
