Job summary

Intuitive in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Future Forward Product Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of Future Forward products, guiding research, requirements, design, and launch. You will collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to align on strategies that maximize patient impact and business value.

You will build market insights, frame product opportunities by surgical specialty, and drive commercialization with global teams while prioritizing quality and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Future Forward products across the entire lifecycle.
• Develop market and user research, write product requirements, lead development and launch.
• Product business & strategic modeling, user needs & requirements management, market research, customer interaction, forecasting, pricing, competitive analysis, and new product proposals.
• Frame efforts by surgical specialty and product technology.
• Assist in managing the Future Forward product roadmap and lifecycle; develop business justification for recommendations and gain alignment on prioritization.
• Develop business analyses including competitive assessments to enable data-driven decisions.
• Use qualitative and quantitative market research and direct customer interviews to develop insights for the roadmap.
• Lead cross-functional product teams including engineering, sales and marketing to execute the plan.
• Represent product management in development, complete market and product requirement documents, and facilitate tradeoff discussions.
• Engage with Human Factors and Interaction Design by establishing design requirements and documenting decisions.
• Convey product value proposition to global marketing for positioning and messaging.
• Measure product success by adoption and post-launch feedback.
• Develop deep understanding of surgical treatments and engage with KOLs.
• Collaboratively develop global product commercialization plans with regional teams.
• Understand competitive and emerging tech and its impact on Intuitive’s product lines.
• Work with product engineering and business development to evaluate new technologies and prioritize pipeline.
• Monitor and prioritize product quality issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
• Participate in product education programs and sustaining activities including end of life.
